I have had this ever so annoying skipping of the motor at about 1300-1400 rpm. The dealer is either lazy, or incompetant. They said all of them do it, must be a charicature of the car. I stink if I don't take a shower, doesn't mean I'm not going to fix it.

I'm looking for a complete diagnostic system, or even code breaker for the Sonata. I've cracked them on all my other cars. Ford, Honda, Chrysler, and Subaru have all been remapped by me. I just need the OBD II port to USB connection cord. Anybody know?

Dear sort,

the complete list of codes is available by registering for hmaservice.com, go to tab DTC, look up your codes.

Instead of a laptop, try this for cheap and effective.

Hardly worth pulling out the laptop for that price.

Oh, sorry I didn't explain myself. The code i am talking about is the binary programming code for the ECM and BCM. This code breaking allows you to control all aspects of the vehicle. Timing advance, fuel pulse width, barometric air volume.

Way beyond scan tools or even code readers.

Thanks though.
