Ok I would like from you guys if you have the time to in detail explain what I should get for under $1000 to up the HP in my car. How much HP can you get out of this?

Also on shocks ect. I took a hair pin L shape corner turn at an intersection at 45 or 50 due to my wife yelling at me in the back seat. Luckly for me no car was on the other side of the road. The car fish tailed / drifted with the front to the right side of the car where the side door was LOL then I took over and corrected and kept going.. Took about 1/4 of a sec. This car can handle (btw my 5 month old in the back seat with said bitching wife ... she LOVED the ride! LOL)

If i recall a full exhaust system is $600 ?

full exhaust with headers is more like 1200-900 bucks.

axle back exhaust is 500
mid pipe is 350 bucks
header is 250 bucks
OR cat back from kfx for 300

plus shipping will be close to 1200 for dealer, 900 for kfx...

but if you dont want to get raped at the stealership/kfx

buy the equal length header from kfx and take your car to an exhaust place and get th rest done for 3-400 with the muffler.

now if some ine like me had a thousand to blow i would buy,

header
engine damper
drill/slotted rotors
S/S
all UR sway bars
and i think i forgot something but it comes to 1400 with shipping

the header, engine damper and cat back exhaust should add around 30 hp

the the header is dynoed to 10 hp 12 fpt STOCK!
the exhaust should add about 10-12 hp and equal torque
the engine damper will ensure that most of the stock hp and added hp get to the wheels so you can imagine it unlocks 10 hp and 15 fpt

so for 1000 bucks your best bet is the three things mentioned above and the S/S

What's wrong with this exhaust?

Full catback

So this exhaust with the equal length header would be like $650... not $1200...

buy the header and go get a custom exhaust it will be cheaper and perform just as well as the name brand ones.....

i would also suggest switching your tranny fluid to a synthetic(and yes i do recommend amsoil fluid) this will help keep your temps down and shift smoother and last longer...might as well switch the oil too...this will help keep the motor cleaner, cooler and running longer and free up a pony or two.....

better set of tires will help....

strut bar and sway bars help body roll

engine dampener

custom sri intake(spectra and amsoil EA filter)
