My girlfriend bought a used 07 Hyundia Tuscon about 4 months back. I have heard that since she bought it used she doesnt get the remainder of the 10/100,00 warranty, she only gets the remainder of 5/50,000 warranty. Can anyone tell me for sure what kind of warranty she has left? Also she did not buy it used from a Hyundia dealer, not sure if that matters or not.

Thanks

The warranty you have remaining as second owner is 5 years/60,000 miles. It is pretty much bumper to bumper except for the audio system, light bulbs (including halogen) and paint. There may be a few other nitpicky things I'm forgetting, but that pretty much covers it.

Thanks for the info Lilbean. I found a number for Hyundia USA and just got off the phone with them and they said the same thing you just said. I forgot to ask them though, the five years starts the day the car was driven off the with the original owner correct?

Yes, the warranty start date is the date the original owner purchased the vehicle.
