This is a post to update/correct my previous thread concerning the Genesis amplifier replacement recall. I stated earlier that the recall only affected the base audio system because that is what Hyundai told us. However, the recall actually affects the Lexicon mid-grade system (with 14 speakers). The problem is that some of the amplifiers will cut out, and initially this started as a "test and replace if necessary" kind of thing. I guess they decided to just make it a Campaign in the interest of customer satisfaction. Yours may not be experiencing this issue, but should be replaced anyway because it probably eventually will have problems.
