I'm just getting a 1989 Hyundai Sonata and everything with it is perfect, except a few minor things. The background with it is, my boyfriend is a tow truck driver and hauld away this car for scrap. The previous owner wanted it gone just because the exhaust had a hole in it, which is getting repaired. It runs and is great but I'm having issues with the Driver's side Rear Door. It won't open at all. Both the handles from the inside and out move but the door wont open. I can't get ahold of the previous owner to get any history on it, but I can tell that the door has been like that for several months at least.

If anyone has ever expirenced this before and/or has any ideas at all on how to fix this, I would love to hear your answers!!!

this is not uncommon, you will need to remove the interior door trim, this won't be easy with the door jammed shut but it does come off. you will then find that either the lincage bar inside the door has come off or the lock itself has jammed, you may well need some help with this one
