I'm going to be upgrading the exhaust to .5" bigger than it is right now in the next few months, but I want to maintain the stock quietness is currently has.

Any ideas?

Ok let me get this straight ur going to a 5INCH exuast? If so u may even loose power my dually has a 5 inch. If you want power dont expect too much from an exuast you will get 5-7 hp at max with a real mandreol bent system as I have'nt seen headers for our car at least in florida which is one of the biggest bolt on upgrades. . Not the mickey mouse 80-120 dollar ones. Get a greddy or apexi Can and the mandrel bends. I put a greddy on mine with the k&n filter and noticed a difference. Now as for quiteness the only thing i can say is get a silencer any real CAN or muffler is going to make noise. We have 3 down here in miami fl all of us got mufflers and it really isnt that bad only 1 sounds of sounds like a ricer but mine and my friends sound a little like a G35. Hope i was helpfull good luck

LOLZ NO point 5 (.5) inches bigger! On a diesel that would be cool though.

But you think just a can alone would help on this car?

OK like i said a real can like greddy with cost me like 280 bucks with the tubing about another 150 to 200 will make a little difference , but as I said headers are the real diff. maker. When he did my friends charger after exhuast and intake headers gave another 21hp but i havent seen them for our car but yes it will help between antwhere from 4-7 hp mid range and up. I did 2 1/2 inch on mine and its not obnoxious at all.

Ok but are you going name brand or any exhaust? Heres what i can do now I am not sure about shipping but compare you prices up there for cans include greddy apexi and normal add on cans and get me the prices. What i will do is try to get it at my price if that sounds good. Now for quiteness only thing i can recommened is look for cans with silencer inserts. If you have any other ?s about this just drop me an email streetzfinestcc@hotmail.com Ill also try to get u a clip of my system so u can hear and see it.
