seems a good way to potentially hydrolock your car, no? (although, maybe its not deep enough?)

Yup... hydrolock city. Not to mention warpage of brake rotors, soaking wet alternator, etc.

Have your fun tho. ^_^

Nah, wasnt deep enough and for the rotors they need to be heated up before they would warp from being cooled down. Luckly we have some pretty good splash gaurds on our cars :bwekk:

Relax people... if cars were so easy to hydrolock and warp the rotors on, people would still be riding horses.

You are more likely to hydrolock the car going slowly through a 18" deep puddle with your foot on the accellerator than splashing through a couple inches of water at high speed. And more likely to warp your rotors by standing on the brake pedal during a panic stop from 75 mph.

That looks like my ride home from work just about every day, from April to August. Pretty much never fails, right at quitting time here comes the sideways rain. :)
