With your XG's? Just curious. I average a solid 21mpg in the city, and anywhere from 26-32mpg on the highway.. about 70-75 w/ no ac on is about 32mpg.. 80mph w/ the ac on is around 26-28, depending.

What do you guys get?

Matt

In all city driving, I'll get 300-320ish.. on the highway w/ the cruise set to 70-75, about 420-470. Only using 14gallons though.

With our 2005 Xg350L with the 3.5L 5W30 Mobil One Fully Syn, and K&N drop in filter got just 23 MPG :w00t: That was 90% Hwy. Not going over like 3500RPMS.

****.. thats terrible lol. 3500rpms?? At 3500rpm's in fifth/OD in my 3.0l is like 100mph lol. 80mph is like 2500 or so.
I've always heard that the 3.5's are worse on gas.. but THAT much worse???

Ooooh ok gotcha. I was gonna say.. lol.
But I wont let the rpm's go over 2k (sometimes i shift about 1600) in the city, and I've noticed since the CEL has shut off, I actually get 24mpg all on-post city driving. Not bad!!
