I know it's a personal issue, and most opinions will lean towards "just get what you like", but there are several color combinations on the '09 Limiteds that I really like.

I guess my first choice is the Willow Gray with the Cocoa interior. Does anyone have this combination? How does the dark interior color look with the Limited's wood trim? Is the wood a different shade depending on the light interior vs dark?

Second on my list is the Dark Cherry Red with the Cocoa interior.

Does the chrome exterior trim contrast better with either color?

I really like the way the Camel interior looks, very classy in the Limited, but I have some real concerns with keeping it clean.

The gray interior is great in some color combinations, I just don't like it very much with the Willow Gray.

The reason I ask is that my local dealerships don't have any Limiteds on the lots, so I'm having to imagine how some of this will look, and pictures don't always match what you'll see on a bright sunny day vs cloudy vs nighttime.

Any other comments on color combinations are appreciated.

Thanks!

Bob

I have an I4 Limited in Medium Sliver Blue, and it came with the gray interior. Personally, I like the combination alot better than some of the others that I saw. I wasn't able to take mine home from the dealer on the day I purchased it, so they gave me a Camel w/ camel interior V6 Limited to drive as a loaner. UGLY. The wood was a lighter color, and it didn't compliment the darker / silver dash components at all. With the gray interior, the dash is black, the center console is silver, the wood accents are a dark cherry (more black than red), and the interior is a medium dark gray. To me, the interior in both cars greatly changed the way i looked at the same model, and while the camel was garish and mismatched, and made the car look cheap and poorly designed, the gray really comes off as elegant and classy. Just my 2 cents.

I had the same delima!!!!!! I actually had the pearl white w/ tan bought, then my wife said we should get the dark interior. So we went out to get the car & told them to see if they can get one w/ the cocoa. There were only like 10 cars in the Illinois/Missouri area w/ that int, & we ended up getting the silver met w/ cocoa int. Didn't even get to see the cocoa till we went to pick it up, but it is a nice color!!! The other option was the black on black, but we knew we were also getting my wife a new car & wanted to go w/ black in it & for me cleaning 2 black cars all the time would KILL ME!!!!

I have the Willow Gray with gray interior and in my opinion is the best color combination.

30PlusRetlaw,

That does look nice. Did you see any Willow Gray with the Cocoa interior before getting the Willow Gray / Gray?

I do like the way the chrome trim looks against the gray exterior - very classy. I guess if I'm not able to find the Willow Gray / Cocoa, your color combination is probably a good option.

Is the dark gray trim on the dash a wood grain or a straight gray with no pattern? Tough to tell from this angle & distance.

How do you like the car so far - quality, fuel mileage, etc?

Nice car!

Bob

Man that is very nice looking!!!! The only reason I didn't go w/ that color was b/c we were trading in our 07 Envoy & it was graphite met which is almost the same color, I wanted something differnet. I bet that willow would look great also w/ the cocoa!

No I didn't see any willow gray/ cocoa interior and is not an option if you build your Hyundai Sonata at the Hyundai website. The trim is a very dark wood grain imitation But if you want a more "wood" looking interior your solution is a dash kit.

The more I drive the car, the more I liked. We had only put 85 miles on it. The computer takes and average and the more you drive, the higher the MPG goes up.
It started at 14 MPG and so far had climb to 19.3 MPG. The quality of the interior is very good for what I pay for the car $20345. Is not like a BMW or a MB but in my opinion better than the Nissan and Toyota.
BTW. I like the cocoa interior, but after test drive a car with the Cocoa interior an seen how easy you could spot any dirty masks, we decided to go with a dark interior since I have 3 kids. If the car was for me only cocoa is a very nice color.
