Hello all, I am having an issue with my 02 Sonata V6 GLS. The check engine light is on and when I scan for the the codes I receive the following:
P0447
P0031
P0051
P0037

I receive each code twice. I have the details on what each code is, but I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before. It seems to me that there must be a single cause for all of these codes, considering I am getting 8 codes each one twice.

Any ideas for a cause or solution?

Thankls,

I doubt that the O2 sensor codes are related to the Evap Vent code. The codes appear twice because one is an active code and one is a history code.

My 2000 V6 GLS had new O2 sensors fitted yesterday, sensor 1 on both banks cleared check light twice but get the following codes ??

P0448 (Evap Emissions Vent control circuit shorted )

P0031 (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0051 (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

P0037 (Bank 1 sensor 2)

Car runs great no hesitation, gas is good so I guess its another Hyundia mystery
