Is your check engine light on solid or flashing??? That makes a world of difference. Basically solid, is not to serious. Flashing is quite serious and should't be driven too much. Who told you that there wa a misfire on one of the cylinders?? If you took it to a garage, did they fix it?? Did they clear the codes?? If the light is on solid, you can pull the negative terminal off for a few minutes , so it cancels the code, they start it back up again. Did you use the right plugs?? You can have a dead new plug, it happened to me. You should always use factory wires, they are the best for your vehicle. And they are worth the extra money. Have you done a lot of driving?? Maybe you got bad gas, that has happened to me to and when I changed the filter on my 2001, a red oil substance came out of the filter..Serious. Always start with the easy things.. It could be the coil block, but your garage can pinpoint that for you. One test you can run, have the vehicle running, then pull off a plug wire at a time. Use heavy leather gloves or an insulated pair of wires or something similiar. then you will know for sure if it is a plug wire, plug, or coil box. I hope these help ya.......
