Are the front and rear emblems the same? I have a new grill so I was going to paint the front emblem black to see if I would like a black emblem on the trunk.

Was just wondering if they are the same mounting wise so if I like it I can just swap it out

I do believe they are the same - the front one is held on with two screws whereas the back one is held on with two-way tape.

How did you paint yours? sand prime paint clear? just sand and paint?

Sand (scuffed it up), cleaned, primed, paint.

I didn't use any clear coat on mine.
