After speaking to another trajet owner he said that he has heard that the new hyundai people carrier is called the I800 , first pics i have seen looks horrible but then iam still looking .

Unfortunately yes, its replacement for the Trajet. It should call mini bus or van and not MPV anymore. My guess is since Hyundai have make the Santa Fe a seven seater option, no point to make the Trajet anymore as it may jeopardize the sales of the SF as buyer will be torn between the 2 models. So, they came out with a Mini Bus/Van option... :)

actually, we have it here in australia, they named it Iload and Imax, but, in the philippines, they are named Starex.

Its not really a replacement for the trajet, its way too big, looks impressive but its massive, lwb transit size definately in merc vito market. fuel consumption in line with size full 8 seater though, loads of extra air vents & AC, bonnet drops away so fast you can see nothing at the front parking would be **** road tax could be juicy too

The real trajet replacement is launched abroad and I don't think we'll get it, entourage, almost exact sister of the new sedona, they share this model and the sedona outsells by loads in Oz and I think the states have them too, but nobody buys the sedona we get, they all buy the lwb with stow away rear seats like the vaux zafira, and they don;t sell that over here in the sedona range
