96 Model Hyundai Performance, swaping engines help please

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 9 Joined: 12-November 07 Member No.: 37,377 Status: Location: australia Drives: scoupe	hey guys im looking for an engine to swap out my 96 model hyundai... i cant drive turbo thanks to th new laws... what other engine could i use... i want to keep this car becouse every one on the street runs them down but its a good car and with the right work will make a sleeper and makem all shut up... what engine could i use... ive got a k20a siting here wich was gona go in my old civic...could i use that at all... i need a engine that with the right work can atleast hold its own aagains vl's... there a very bad problem here in tamworth... any help guys would be great cheers
