You'll have to do all the wiring yourself. Hyundais don't come pre-wired for options that are not on the car. The plug may be in the dash for the fog light switch, but the harness for the fog lights themselves is part of the engine room wiring harness, and the required connections will not exist on a car that didn't come with fog lights. There are probably 20 different part numbers for the different engine room wiring harnesses.

It an be done, however, I added factory fogs that worked off the factory switch to my 2001 Tiburon and it worked great.

To get a factory harness would cost around a grand or more, and it would be involve rewiring the entire engine compartment. Total PITA.

It's easier just to build your own harness. If you take your time and do it right, it will function just like factory and you would never know it didn't come that way.

do the factory fogs come with pig tails? Or do you just splice right into the wiring behind the foglight harness clip
let me know if this doesnt make any sense

The factory fog light assemblies have a plug built into the housing, not a pigtail. You would have to fabricate a waterproof plug of some type.

Sounds like a great deal.
I mounted some aftermarket fogs near the inner corner of the factory fog location, came with a fuse link and capacitor.Very easy to install, just a ground, hot, and a rocker switch (mounted in the cubby hole next to where the original switch should have been.
You could pick up the kit and use it for the factory lights since they can be found with the same wattage and amperage ratings, for around $25-30. By a little cable cover and it looks nice.
