Hi I have a 2002 elantra, and bring it to my local dealership for all repairs, and I am starting to regret doing it.

So, I am kinda getting sick of my local dealership making me feel like an idiot who doesn't know how to pump gas. I never top off my gas, because that's what I learned you should not do when I started driving over 7 years ago... However, I have been told 3 times by Hyundai that I do that an
Two years ago my car somehow flooded with gas, thankfully it was under warranty, and Hyundai warned me that I am idiot who doesn't know how to pump gas... The reason I knew something was going on was my car began stalling at lights.
About a month ago I had the same problem, and when I questioned them telling them I was doing everything they told me to do, they told me obviously I wasn't. After handing over my monthly paycheck to them I got my car back. They drained my fuel and added it again as well as waiting for everything to dry.
The next time I drove my car (Approx 5 miles later), it stalled out at a traffic light (so same problem), got my car towed to the dealership...had them ridicule me and be completely rude to me. I called to find out the status, and they told me that I don't know how to pump gas again, when the dealership was the last person to put gas in my car.
It's been a week, and the only contact I have had with my dealership is when I called them.

If you have had other issues like this, please let me know, I am just fed up with my car.

When you say flooded with gas, what exactly do you mean? What is the dealership telling you specifically that is wrong with your car, besides telling you that it's your fault? What repairs did they make to it the last time (as in, what parts did they replace)?

This will help us understand your problem a little bit better.

My Westminster, CO Hyundai dealership told me that when I fill my tank with gas, I put too much gas in, which then made it came back out and corode everything. They never specified what was coroded, just that they had to replace everything, again not specifying what they needed to replace.

I would be interested in knowing what parts they had billed out on your ticket... The main side effect of overfilling with gas (and I'm not saying you did that) is that the gas goes down the vent lines and fills up the charcoal canister, requiring replacement of the canister, filter, and canister close valve. However, unless you were just absolutely POURING gas down the vent lines, there's no way that could happen twice in such a short period of time. They are apparently not explaining everthing to you. I'm not saying they are taking advantage of you, I'm just thinking that there are some pieces to this puzzle that are missing.
