buy an amp wiring kit........ adding this to a stock head unit is gonna be **** to do but is do---able having said that.i believe your'e best bet would be to buy a aftermarket head unit..... makes life alot easier and sounds way better then stock......................

plus you'd have to splice into rear stock speaker cables to run to amp if you were to run this from factory system..................

^ ^ Agreed. I have an 8" Bazooka Tube, and thats the ONLY reason I haven't hooked it up yet. Splicing into factory 24 gauge speaker wire is a royal PAIN!

Or you can use a simple line out converter and run rca jacks(if the tube has them) from just behind the unit all the way back.Or tap into the rear speaker outputs at the back of the unit and run heavier speaker cable, but the amp wiring is a must.

or, since your going to have to mutilate your audio system, you might as well throw you bazooka in the garbage and buy a real sub and box and buy even a **** h/u and call it a day.

there is no point in wasting all that time for a crap mod that you will want to change. most ppl with brand new cars would have the brains to spend the money on even a cheap stereo than a bazooka tube that is spliced into the wiring some where in the back of there stock stereo. jmtc

yeah my brother had this in his mazda 3 along with red LEDs all in the interior, so since hes overseas and he aint using the car i took the speaker out....i think i'll just take one of the aftermarket radios of one of my trade-ins i got last week. this guy had a nice pioneer deck in his ranger. lol then go buy a 10" or 12" sub. and add an amp!
