Hi,

My Tucson, started jerking on taking off, also until i reach a cruising speed the car doesn't have as much power as it used to have.

What could it be? You think it's serious?

Thank you for your help,
Jen.

Check the intake duct clamps (esp. at Mass Air Flow sensor) near the air cleaner. The duct will likely be loose. If the clamps are the wire type, then you'll need to update/upgrade them to worm clamp type. There is a TSB that addresses this (TSB No. 05-20-003-1). The dealership should stock these new clamps.

Hi,

Thank you for repaying!!!

I found this -

It seems similar to my problem, do you think it's worth any thing?

Thank you for helping,
Jen.

It's not going to be the transmission. In all likelihood it's the air intake clamps mentioned above. It's a known problem and is covered in the TSB. In any case, it's covered under your warranty so take it to the dealer and have it fixed.
