hi,

I have just bought a new hyundia sports coupe, it has a ipod connection in thr arm rest, I have a Sony mp3 player, is there a connector which will plug into the i pod connector and end in ajack plug for the mp3 player.

I don't think so. Ipod has made all of their equipment unique for that very reason. So you can't share it with other Mp3 players.
