I have an 03 Accent GL, I have recently realized that my AC is always on regaurdless of whether or not the AC button is pushed in. If the button is not pushed and no LED on, it will still get just as cold in the car as when the light is on. It gets quite cold, so I don't think there's a problem with the AC itself, maybe the switch is broken? Any ideas?

If the dial is set to either the defrost or defrost + lower vents, the AC will be on whether the AC button is in or not. AC doesn't just make the air cold, it also removes humidity and you need dry air to defrost/defog the windshield.
