Well you bought the stuff so you should know. Unless Bob hijacked

yet another thread, I think you use this product with no Water. But you

must admit, what a ride on this thread, from a Wax, to a Bug remover, to

a Scratch remover, and finally a waterless Wax. :trophy:

Mama,
The "waterless" thing means you spray this stuff on your dirty Sonata, wipe it off and buff to a shine. No water, no buckets, no sponges and no chamois involved.

Are you serious, Craig? 'cause regular wax involves no water either.... Once my car went thru a wash, and it's now dry, ready to be waxed, there is no water involved....

If they really think waterless wax is to be used treating a WHOLE DIRTY car, than I'd say this is kinda silly, and Bobad's note about scratching your paint finish -- is very much in place....

Took you 40 minutes to google and come up with this Psssssst idea, yeah!

I'm ordering 4 cans of shampoo today. Who knows what's gonna happen later in my life, maybe I'll be camping, or do sports, or maybe I'll get sick? Good to have, just in case. Only $23.96 and the shipping is FREE!

Thanks, Miami.

Hmmmmm
There was water involved with the wash. :whistling:

They claim no wash just spray and wipe hence the term waterless. :w00t:

So last night I get home and there is an ugly, weird, dark spot on my hood that looks and feels like the paint was PEALING, oh dear God, please, no!

I grabbed that FW1 can, sprayed a little on the spot, waited 10 seconds, and wiped it off gently with a cloth. It simply VANISHED, pufffff....

My car is FILTHY! I never find the time to go visit our local car-wash, and keep delaying it. Really nasty of me, I know. So this was a great, quick solution.... Now I have a bright, clean spot on my filthy hood.... Need to wash this car!

Maybe T O N I G H T!

Time to spray on a whole Can of that stuff.

Once at a Car Wash I was told my old Corolla needed to be Waxed badly.

The guy showed me how great the Car could look. Little did I know he was

going to sample my hood. At that point I had to have him do the entire Car :w00t:

Well, I wouldn't use this product to wax my WHOLE car, CERTAINLY NOT without a good, thorough wash first.... But the point is, this is a great product for an "emergency" like mine of last night.... I could have achieved the same results using my regular wax, but this is so much simpler and easy... It's like GooGone, in a way...

....And it's without rubbing, that might SCRATCH the paint finish, done on a dirty car....

Wow this stuff has Camauba Wax. Did not notice that before. What is it?

But I would try it, although I don't dare you too. Craig is always daring people.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_diff...and_camauba_wax
RGS LABS, Inc.® brings you the FW1 Waterless Formulation has a unique combination of Lubricants and Camauba wax which combine to lift the dirt and grime away from paint, chrome, plastic, glass and the rims on your vehicle and leaves a professional show car finish. For a professional show car finish use what racing professionals have used for years FW1 Waterless Formulation. RGS LABS, Inc.® has truly created a superior product which can be used on cars, RVs, boats, motorcycles, airplanes, trucks, bicycles and more. Clean and wax an average sized vehicle in less than 30 minutes. With 40% more free of the FW1 Waterless Formulation per can that same 17.50 oz. aerosol can of FW1 Wash&Wax will do the same car.

The FW1 Waterless Formulation was created to meet a need in the racing world. Years ago, soap and water were used in the pit areas of race tracks to keep the cars clean and the sponsors happy. Excess soap and water in this environment was found to get on the tires of the vehicles and cause the drivers to lose traction. RGS Labs FW1 Waterless Formulation was designed to solve the problem. Now it is your chance to share in the same technology that has been used in this fast paced industry for more than a decade!

So I DID buy their product, but -- with all due respect -- I still want my car to be washed, before I apply that product.

See, don't tell anybody, but I do shower in the morning, before I put my Deodorant and few drops of after shave. According to RGS LABS, Inc.® I should stop wasting water, time, soap, towels that need to be laundered, not to mention my wife screaming at me that I left hair all over the place again..... What a nuisance.

Hey what type of After Shave? And the Hair thing will stop after awhile.

I beg you, don't wash the Car before using. :innocent:

How to apply FW1 Waterless Formulation High Performance Cleaner Wax

Do not wash your car. (Washing with soap can deteriorate your Clear Coat finish)

Rinse excess dirt, mud or pollen with water, if necessary. :whistling:

Shake before using.

Use 2 terry cloth towels. 1 to apply and 1 to shine. (Avoid towels that have been washed with softeners)

Spray a small section of your vehicle. (2 or 3 square feet)

When using around tires or black molding/insulation spray directly on the application towel. (3 - 4 second blast)

Using the application towel, gently rub in a circular motion.

Allow 15 seconds or more for it to dry. (look for a light dry haze)

Using the second towel folded with a usable surface area just larger than your hand wipe/ buff to a showroom shine, shake towel frequently to avoid build-up.

*NOTE*- For faded paints, bugs, tar, tree sap, etc. Apply a heavier coat
directly on the spot to be treated, then let stand for
2 – 3 minutes to allow product to remove substances from surface before rubbing.

My wife also bought some from an "out front" gas station sale... It works great on glass and when sprayed on and wiped off with a Microfiber cloth it works like a cleaner combined with rain-x. I also sprayed down the car with it.. Every thing looks good much like a detailers spray. But, DON'T spray it on your car when its hot out. :( The spray dries prior to hitting the car and leave small white dots that are very hard to rub out. Here in Sunny Florida I have had to put it on the shelf (do we ever get anything but HOT in the summer here?). I have started using Meguires detailing spray. On my Black Sonata it works great.

Well that is Good News everyone, so the product works great, at least on Glass.

If you are spraying on White Dots though, I must admit that doesn't sound good.

We have hard water out here. My Car will start to spot within seconds in the

hot Heat. It was 117 yesterday. I hate heat & hard water! Oh and Spots too!

Hey, Miami, go ahead, order that product, use it to clean/wax your whole dirty car.

Maybe, with all the promotion you've given them here, they'll be nice to you and ship the product free of charge.

I will wash my car, however (big rain in Chicagoland this evening, car-wash closed), and use it on my CLEAN car. Of course, the claim that "soap can deteriorate your Clear Coat finish" is misleading, since the soap used is special for protecting the clear coat. At least that's what I was always told...
