Thanks for posting the latest photos with the "wing" badge.  I, for one, would remove the paper dealer plates and frames on your front & rear, unless of course they are paying you ADV.  Ditto Genesis on the right bottom trunk lid.

Let's hope the Hyundai US police don't bust your ride for violations of "official" badging beyond China & Korea distribution.

Like 99% of the cops would even know or care about the badging.

As for the dealer plates, I will get rid of them as soon as I register the car. I have 30 days to get plates. I'm thinking of getting a personal plate, but can't think of anything good.

Any suggestions?

No, no, it just says that because the gasoline sold as 87 octane in the USA can also be rated at 91 octane using a different rating system that's more common in other countries.  In the USA the number you see on pumps is the "Pump Octane Number", whereas in many other countries you see the "Research Octane Number".

Anyways, a PON of 87 is equal to an RON of 91, so that's all your manual means.  If you look carefully on pump stickers they sometimes also show the Research Octane Number on it somewhere.

And yes I actually registered just to post this, even though I do not own a Hyundai at all.

Thank you for the info.! Much appreciated. :)

Those badges look great!  Where they difficult to put on (position/align)?  What type of glue did you use?  Have you considered removing the "Genesis" name in the lower right corner of the trunk so that you only have the winged badge in the back?

They were a bit tricky to align. They tend to look crooked when viewed from one side of the other. I had to measure them to be safe. The only other part was shaving down the large circular tabs on the back (since I obviously didn't want to drill large holes in my car). ;) The badges had double stick tape on the underside and I just used some more that I had to fill in the empty space left where the tabs were. Make sure to prep the surface with alcohol to remove any grease/oil/wax and ensure a proper bond.

iPod Cable Part # 08620-2L000 is available from the dealer. Contact dealer for pricing.

It is compatible with late model iPod products produced from mid-2004 on (4th Generation iPods, all Nanos, etc). This would include most iPod devices with the smooth front “Click Wheel”.

Each combination of Hyundai model, iPod model and iPod generation have unique functionality. Refer to the Hyundai vehicle Owner’s Manual for more details.

The cable also fits the following 2009 MY USA vehicles:

Elantra Touring
Sonata
Azera
Entourage
Santa Fe
Veracruz
Genesis

Totally agree. I can see some dealers swapping out the H for the Genesis logo. With a car that looks as good and cost as much as this one, it's all about the badge!

They don't have to make separate branding just call the Genesis sedan BH380 and BH460, no division is necessary. sorry about being off topic.

The genesis Coupe should be called TB200 and the TB380. both should use the Genesis branding.

- GENESIS ...this way if you get rid of the Genesis logo and people ask what it is ... Duh, look at the plate ! :)

- ALPHA
- 1:1 (Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth)

I dunno, how many letters do y'all get for your plates ?

Badges are from Korean Auto Imports (you can get them off their website or ebay).

Here are some artsy/digitally manipulated images of my Genesis:
