Hi all, great forum, glad I stumbled upon it! My 99 accent has issues with the drivers window. It's a manual crank jobber, and if I try to roll it up, the part of the window closest to the front "sticks." And it goes up all crooked. I then have to grab it and force it up by hand to get it to close. When I help it along it'll go up just fine. Tomorrow, I'm going to take the door apart, and hopefully the track just needs to be lubed up. If that's the case, what type of lube should I use?

I'm in the northeast, and the winters can get cold (if that matters). Any help greatly appreciated!

make sure that the window regulator is attached to the bottom of the glass as it should be, if it is then it's very likely that you will need a new window regulator assembly
