Drives: 2005 Elantra GLS
Hey, I am new here. I just installed a new clutch in my 2005 Elantra GLS. Car started fine but the clutch pedal could not be pressed. I pressed harder and suddenly it went, but doesn't come back up by itself. Also, it won't let me shift into gears while the car is running. Any ideas???

you have obviously done something wrong, did you fit the clutch slave cyinder back correctly? if the hydrolics are o/k then it sounds as though the thrust/throw out bearing is not fitted correctly and that means the box out again
