Ok I'm looking at getting a new set of DRAG DR-16 wheels. currently I have the red ones install but I'm think of getting a set of black ones, can someoen take a picture from my website and phtoshop the wheels to black, please. If you can use the closeup of the wheels so that I can see teh red brakes in the photo.

thanks man, but it's really not.. i was dealing with those stupid [understandably] tilted photos of rims on rim sites...
and internet car photos.

for the record.. I'll someday be getting all black, matte finish rims.
i dont really dig the aluminum lip.
no offence though of course.

the wheels themselves are nice Komp! either red or black would look good with yer red car! personally i would take the black/silver.. jsut to add a bit more black to it and break up all the red... your car, you gotta drive it! which one YOU like best?

Yah I know, the red look has been great to me, I just wanted to check out the options. Funny isn't it, it's cheaper to buy new wheels than to ge tthem repaired. lol

I think I like the red ones better, but like Torbo said its your car so do what you want with it. The black do look sharp so if you're not worried about the cash, get both and you can switch it up whenever you want

On another note onetwenty, if its not too much of a problem for you would you try and photoshop this picture to have the stock SE wheels painted black.
Not sure how to post a pic so i'll send a link if that helps: http://us.autos1.yimg.com/img.autos.yahoo....iew_640x480.jpg

have you thought about just purchasing a separate set of tires? That way you can switch whenever you feel like it.

Problem is my exsisting set is damaged and repairing them is just about the same cost as buying new ones. I'll be using the damaged one for my winter tires.

ouch those car washes that have the little spongy brushes are horrible for not only your wheels, but your clear coat. It's bad enough to keep those little scratches from sticking out on my sapphire blue car.

Chevron has the touch less car washes that are awesome. and in my area, with the cost of gas, they offer a 3.99 car wash special for the ultimate car wash with any fill up.

Thanks onetwenty, appreciate it man. Anyone have an idea of what it would cost to get the wheels done?

I agree, i have to get my scratches off mine tomorrow if it doesn't rain...and i think i started to go to a touch free car wash now and hand wash when i can find a place to do it.

gotta say im partial to the aluminum or polished lip and black centers...hehe
give some contrast to that sea of red you got goin on there komptek....
but he what do i know i like the darkness....

you can get a sand blaster from harbor freight for cheap and a powder coating kit for around 100 bucks either harbor freight or www.eastwoodcompany.com (<<love this site!) they have a plethora of colors to choose from too....would be cheap to do your self....you need an old stove to use too...dont even think about using the one in the house you wont be able to cook in it again and the wife/girl friend/mom/what ever would kick your butt....lol

we do powder coating down here.....im waiting for the tires to wear out on mine them im gonna redo the black and have the lip polished and then clear coat it....
