I was looking at some car magazine the other day ,and there was an ad for a headunit ,in the ad said it is the first sstock dvd headunit for hyundai sonata in the world.to be honest it looked stock to me by looking at the magazine.
so I went to the shop to check it out ,well the guy in the shop thought I was a friend of him "wierdo" :P ,anywayssss he said the brand is "infinity" and after a long argue I convinced him to take some pictures.
but by looking at it in person it looked crapy and fake to me .
and the price 2400 $ .
I was wondering if anyone seen this one ????

i second that...

"Infinity"? come on... for $2,400? you could have someone fabricate something with way more power, features and look as OEM as that for half the price... ridiculous...

avoid... like.... the.... plague

Tell him to knock a 0 off the price, lol.

The bezel doesn't look THAT bad actually... If you took off some of that lettering and made it look cleaner it'd actually be a decent looking unit.

You can go on bestbuy.com and find ok headunits for half the price.

Or even dive into /www.crutchfield.com

At some point I will have to swap out my stock 6 disc changer in my 07 limited. But since I bought the car last week. That is not on my agenda at the moment.

I am still shocked there is no aux input for this thing.

I already got a headunit (Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD) and it works perfect ^_^ ,I also got my bluetooth unit installed last week. :bwekk:
just wanna make sure if this thing exist in any part of the world or it's hand made by himself :P ,I guess he put the price high cuz none of of his colleagues had that headunit.and that was new to market.apart from the point that the guy's a rip-off :rant2:

Wow, I only paid 730 total for my indash dvd/navigation and the navigation is run off the internal hard drive and not a disk. Oh and the ipod is hooked up also.. There is way better ways to spend 2400...

That price is insane for that unit. A long time ago I heard from a reputable source that Hyundai was making a "stock" Navigation system for our vehicles, but that it would run approx 1k. Definitely not 2,400! Don't know if this is that unit or not???

Even though I've got a double din in-dash, I'm tempted to ask them for some info.

Probably cost about $400 to buy it privately, lol.

Eh, the Chinese make some products that are as good as anything else that you can get, but if a Chinese factory is asked to make cheap junk, they will make cheap junk, plain and simple.

Most people don't want to pay more for a quality product, they want quick, fast and CHEEP!.
