*Brake was misspelled on purpose in memory of the "BREAK BOOST"

Ok so my brakes are so death that they made a deep line in my rotors lol... So I ordered these rotors online, please do not start a slotted etc debate... I spend more time on the MS3 but I still love my Sonata :)... anyways I also pick up some Adaptive One "Hybrid Ceramic Disc Brake Pads" from napa

I just bought the rotors so they should be here probably next week, Ill update the post with pics of the old chewed out rotors and brakes... they are so bad that the esc and abs light comes on every once in a while. Hopefully I haven't damaged anything in there lol.

I have the premium version of those same rotors installed on my sonata now!!
They feel great with no whistle or anything that is acustomed to drilled and slotted rotors ... i do wish that I would have gotten ceramic pads although! I got semi-metallic because i wasnt sure on how long the rotors would last with the "harder" pad

Nice!, I'm too broke so I got the normal ones heh... please post pics, I know some people have made brake posts before but they never complete it with full pics, I got the tracking number, they should be here soon, I will shot a bunch of pictures and see if I can make a tutorial or something like that... did you change yours? how was it? hard easy? etc... ??!? I might paint my calipers too.

i thought the E-Line was actually the premium line? (assuming they were from R1 Concepts)... that is their top of the line, no?

i keep saying "one day i will have them installed".. just not sure when that day will be. waiting for the pads to finish wearing and grind... (not gonna bother until they are really shot, since im replacing the pads and rotors anyway) maybe at some point before the winter (?)... im betting it will feel like night and day difference with the D/S rotors and the Raybestos Advanced Tech Ceramic pads installed.. i will probably be able to tap on my brakes and feel like im going through the window... heh...

when i do get them installed, i will deffo take some pics... i think someone has got these on their car already and pics in their "garage" page here.. i know its a silver car, just cant remember who (edit - it's "sonata with seoul" and its white).. dont see him on much anymore though

sorry to bump this, but i have to ask thanox - do you get braking noise from putting these rotors on?

my mechanic has told me that i should only get the OEM rotors for this car because there is nothing but braking noise from any after-market rotors... since you have the identical rotors to the ones I bought, please give me some insight as to what I can expect by having them put these rotors on (along with ceramic pads).. when i took it in for an oil change last weekend, they told me it is getting to be time to change out the pads & rotors (finally) but warned me about after-market rotors...

TELL ME WHAT YOU HEAR!!!! (note, i drive 95% highway, but dont know if the sound would be different driving that way vs. city driving)

this goes for anyone else that has driller/slotted rotors (i know there are a few out there that have put these types on the Sonata).. has anyone been inundated with braking noise after putting them on?

If you don't mind me asking how many miles do you have on the brakes you are replacing---mine are still good at 41,000 miles.

im at about 44,500 miles now, but i bought the car a year ago with about 27k miles on it, so i have no idea how the last driver drove the car.. i do know that the rotors (front) are definitely grooved and need to be replaced.. i knew that since i got the car, which is why i bought pads and rotors almost as soon as i got the car (but waited until the brakes were shot before I replace them)

the stuff i'm going to be putting on will probably last me at least another 50k miles since im all highway and dont use the brakes as much as city drivers would...
