I don't see a price on the US site. It just comes up as "Discontinued".

Ok, but if you price compare the same amp at your local dealer, Crutchfield Canada is still less.

They were great with me but I am in the U.S.
Can you buy them from th U.S. website and have them shipped to you?
The Alpine MRP-M450 is the one that is $149 on the U.S site.
The MRP-F450 is the one on the Canada site two totally different amps. The first is no longer available on the U.S. site due to being discontinued. :57:

They are NOT the same. The MRPF450 can be configured to be a Mono amp, but it's technically a four channel amp. I'm sure the "F" in MRPF450 is for "Four", and "M" is in MRPM450 for "Mono". It has nothing to do with being sold in Canada.

One is (4-channel)200 watts x 2 bridged or 70watts x 4,the other one(monoblock) is 220 watts x 1.at 4 ohms or 400 watts x 1 at 2 ohms.

had many dealings with Crutchfield in the past, and I can't say they have been anything but perfect for me... bought head units where the dash kit and harnesses came free, bought speakers where the harnesses and spacers came free.. not overly expensive (main unit may be cheaper elsewhere, but then you have to buy all the "extras" that they give you for free), shipping is great (3 days max).. would never hesitate to buy from them if/when i need something else...

i have heard, however, that those not in the US have a much different theory on Crutchfield with things being so much more expensive (mainly Canada).. one of the drawbacks of living someplace like Canada where the import taxes, etc make things so much more expensive... i suppose you should buy locally for things like that...
