another issues of my new 08 Accent sport is when i drive over 100km/h, the steering wheel shakes. Is that mean wheel balance need to be done?
I just got this car not even a day, and i discovered so many issues already, it is scary.

this is almost certainly down to the wheels being out of balance

why even the alloy wheels have the issues like that?
would the vibration cause by other issues but rather than the wheels?

the shake is slighty but visible when i let my hands off the wheel. I believe they've checked the wheels and the nuts are all done up. Those are alloy too.

Sometime when a customer specs up their rims to alloy ones from steel ones, the dealer will simply swap the tyres to the new rims (because the tyres are the expensive bits, alloy rims cost nothing) and half of them are lazy enough to just not bother rebalancing them.

if its really a problem and the dealer wont fix it, either get them to drive the car for themselves or just take it to a tyre shop, it would only cost about AUD40 or so to have them balanced properly.

thats definitly a balancing problem , if the dealer worked on it , the need to fix it for free . the hyundai dealers are like hospitals , its all about " numbers " we have a 10 year 100,000 mile warrenty on our accent and they didnt believe us when the trasnmission went out ,and they replaced it (and that was at 4000 miles ), , since then our transmission has been pushling fluid in one of the receses and they deny its existance , even though our car is under such a warrenty . hyndai warrenyies are horrible , nobody should ever by hyundai , ever .
