I am looking at a friends car.
She drives a 06 Sonata with the Auto trans.

The other day on her way home,
Driving normally, the car all of a sudden started revving in the 4K range and the temp gauge went into the red and the CEL light came on.

She let it sit for a little and then crept the car home.

The next day he husband too the car out and the only thing it has now is the CEL.
I tired to read the code, but i think the 06 has the OBD 3 scanner and not OBD II.

She has the full warreenty and such so I told her to take it back to the dealer.

The car has 27K on it!
Anyone has this problem or an idea as to what it could be?

Any input would be great!
