our 99 accent did the same thing on its origional clutch and the replacment clutch... dont try adjusting it, its hydralic and doesnt require adjusting. just ignore the sound and drive till the clutch starts to slip then get a new one and fly wheel, dont resurface it. did that on the 99 and once was wamed up it would warp and make the trans vibrate on acceleration... its worth replacing if the rest of the cars good. ours was replaced at 168,000 kms and now the old beast has 238,000 (friends have it now) treat the car right, all proper maitenace and oil changes and it will last a long long time. remmeber timing belts every 95,000 kms
