Is it ok to leave an auxiliary plug (3.5mm) plugged into the auxiliary jack on the console when the car is off? I take my iPod with me because I do not want to leave it in the car, but I just wanted to confirm that I am not draining the battery if left in. Thanks.

It's no different from leaving your headphones plugged into your MP3 player. The port should only be powered when the key is in "on" or "accessory" position anyway. When the key is out it should not have any kind of power going to it.
