 Cruise Control For Accent

I asked the dealer the other day if Hyundia has a factory cruise control they could put on my Accent, he said no but the dealer would put a aftermarket one on if I wanted too. Didn't ask how much, but it would be another stick poking out of the steering column, don't think that would look to good!!

why wouldn't it look good. cars with oem cruise control have them there.

i have the aftermarket one installed by the dealership.....it doesnt look bad and i use it everyday dont drive with out it..lol(i have a lead right foot!)
it would be cheaper to goto an audio/custom shop and have it installed than goin through the stealership........unless you can get it as part of your buying deal....jmtc

Well the only thing I was worried about is, getting cruise put on then having the dealership say, say that whoever put their unit on messed up the car electronics or something like or simalar to that line and not honor the warranty. Maybe I'm being somewhat paranoid! I don't know.............sigh,,,,,,,,,,,

Ive been looking into taking cruise off the 4-door models and making it work. Shouldnt be to hard really.

What was the price for the dealership to do this? I'd like to add cruise also.

i waited until they were done haggling price was all set to sign and then said i didnt want it unless it had cruise in it and got up and was walkin out the door....the sales manager ran out and stopped me....said they would throw it in if i would come back in and sign for the price we had already agreed on.... :beer:

back when saturns came out with the no haggle price you see the price that is what you pay....i got upgraded stereo, options and scotch guard for free!...hehe
