We have an 08 Tucson and just noticed that the heated seats turn on intermittently. We tried turning on the seats then turning them off, and it really didn't do much.

One thing I did notice is that it's warm near the lower back and rear of the seat, and it's just a little warm -- not totally on.

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

Sounds to me like a short of some kind and I would take it to the dealer to sort out under the warranty- Nice to have a warm butt but at this time of year with the AC on and the Butt warmer working its definitely not right.

By the way in the winter when I switch mine on Its warm from the small of my back round to top of my legs (or bottom of my bottom)
