Hello Everyone;

I have a 2007 Limted (5 seater) and I have made a few modifications such as tint the front windows, converted the rear bumper lights (brake and taillights), bright white bulbs in the headlights and driving lights, picked up a retractable rear luggage cover, roof mounted bike rack, full set of winter mats, but ultimately the point of this post is how limited our access to aftermarkets parts is.

Are we really stuck with Korean Auto Imports as our only real source for parts? I havent had any problems with them, but it seems that because they seem to have a corner on the Hyundai market, their prices and shipping is quite steep. Rarely do you see any worthwhile specials or discounts.

When I first saw those fancy new complete LED taillights, I wanted them, but not for $500. I did find another place that lists them much cheaper however 3 weeks have gone by and they cant seem to get their act together to really get them, so I'll reserve on passing on who they are until such time they get it together to keep my fellow Hyundai owners from being frustrated by their inability to fill an order.

So, here are a few places I have found, but their product range is limited. If you have a hook or know of another source for Hyundai stuff, please reply and add to the list. There really isnt a place on the forum for supplier links so I thought I'd give this a try.

Here are a few that I know of, please add any you know of:

Hope this helps some, and others have something to add.

Enjoy!

Thats one thing I find troubling with Hyundai in regards to limited access to after market parts, especially outside of Korea. My previous car was a Honda Accord, and I was able to score after market and OEM parts from everywhere.
For the most part it seems we will be a slave to the dealerships when out of warranty issues arise.

I really want those LED lights, and considering they are the whole set and cheaper then the OEMs, the price isn't that bad but could be cheaper. I was going to pick them up but KAI says it will be awhile before they get them due to demand.

In other news I was at the dealership today and checked out a 09 Sonata and i'm getting the itch to switch.

I hear you about the Sonata. I m quite torn as well, but I think I m going to work on paying off the SF before I do anything else. I dont have the luxury of calling in to work and saying, its snowing, I cant come in.

I m mixed about the price for the SF LED's from KAI. We are so used to paying big bucks for their stuff, I m working on an importer/place where the price is $199.00. Problem is like I mentioned before,,, to be fair, I m gonna wait until he either fills the order or tells me he cant fill it to mention them by name.

Cheers!
