Hi !

I was installing the BROS cauges to my 2002 tiburon GL and I took the 3 wires from cauges off and back. Now the car does not start. Is there any possibility that taking off the cauges has triggered the immoblizer? What else could affect the car not to start? Help needed quickly. Thanks!

Problem solved. I installed exos start ring at the same time I plugged the cauges and the start ring is of course METAL. Start ring affected the car immobilizer (made faradys cage and car didn't recognize the key). So lesson learned: Do not install the exos start ring if you have immobilizer !!!

Dear bore,

Thanks! Not sure we put an exos start ring on the US Tiburon, but it's a good tip.

Have you talked with Roger Holdorf in Norway about his Tiburon? He is considering making a group purchase of a copper head gasket to raise the compression of his engine, if you are interested. Roger has the G4ED Alpha engine in his Tiburon.
