Nope, I feel that most of the other canadian hyundai forum just hate the fact that you are driving an "SR". Too much **** talking for me...

I really like this forum for it's simplicity and great members.

I hear you! And you gotta pay to go in certain parts of the forum.. Ridiculous!

Heres a quote from a post I was reading... the guy was just saying what was included with the SR and some accent owner just replied with this ...

QUOTE
Je veux pas pêter ta bulle mais t'as un Accent, avec une couple de gugusses... Ça te convient : tant mieux! Mais arrête de nous casser les oreilles avec ta SR.

And heres an updated pic of my car just after I waxed it and all ...

Hey tHiBoB, what intake is that you have on your car? I see the bypass in the middle, so it must be a cold air intake.

where did you get it and how much was it?

Yeah I saw that post and I totally freaked out. I guess there's some people on this forum that are a tad jealous. ;)

By the Nice car I really like those rims...

I wish I had some time to clean and wax my little **** before going to N-B and PEI.

We should go out and make a nice photo shoot someday!

Close as I can get for you. I think he is basically saying that it isn't an SR, it's just an accent with some minor mods.

This is what I got with an online translator.

I want not to pêter your bubble but have you an Accent, with a couple of gugusses... This is suitable for you: so much the better But give up breaking us ears with your SR.

It goes like that :

I don't want to be a **** but you just have a normal Accent with some minor mods. If it's okay to you ; alright. But stop being a pain in the **** with your SR.

Maybe my friends from Quebec will be able to translate in a better way than I did...

i make my own cold air intake. I bought a kit of aluminium intercooler piping on ebay (100 $). It cme with silicone coupler and clips. I bought a AEM bypass and filter (60 $ each). I make me a plate fothe ECU and you have to drill a hole on the end of the frame...behind the head light...and i sold the rest of the piping for 75 $....my CAI cost me 145 $....i took 2.5 inches piping....3 inches was to big for our engine

My car is still stock, saving up for some nice 17 inch TSW's that I like.

My car has tinted windows, the film they use is called "Anti Smash and Grab"

In South Africa we have a problem with people at intersections and traffic lights
smashing your passenger windows and trying to steal whatever's lying on your seat
etc.

The "Smash and Grab" film prevents the window from shattering.

Most of the cretins who do this use a spark plug to shatter the window.

Yah the SR in 2007 was basiclly a GS 3door with the following added to it.

Body Kit
AEM SRI
ABS front and rear disk.
Simulated CF trim
Clarion Stereo w/sub

Added up it was a good deal because in Canada there wasn't any other way ot get ABS on the 3 door Accent unless you went with a USA SE model.

Question: What are the two switches for on the right of the steering wheel. In Canada the top half switch is for the fog lights and the bottom half is a blank.
