Are those of you running lowering springs also running different shocks/struts? This was always rule number 1 for lowering your VW... match the springs with proper shocks/struts to keep the ride under control and reduce wear and tear...

When you get the car aligned after installing the suspension... does the garage have a hard time getting the car back to the correct specs? Have you noticed any premature wear and tear on CV joints or ball joints? I'm not sure how much the lowering springs for the Accent change the suspension geometry...

Any feedback is welcome... I'm here to learn as much as I can. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.

If I'm going to lower the car, I want to make sure I'm not going to wind up wearing out any driveline parts early and have a warranty claim denied because the car has lowering springs on it...

Anybody else out there have any feedback?

Can you buy the lowering springs at the dealer in the US? We can in Canada so they're warranty approved  They do cost a fair bit more (I think they're around $600 installed at our dealer) but one out-of-warranty claim would more than make up the difference.
