Ok so my new (old) car has the aerial snapped clean off. Reception is poor so I need a new one.

I'm in halfords and prices range from £5 to £25.... I just want anything that doesnt look too bad, maybe a flexy one?

Anyway, How do i fit it? The current one is an electric retract one, i'll need to somehow rewire it through the wing to the head unit... how do i get the old one off?

Once off, best route to the head unit??

heya,
Coinsidentally i was playing around with that area of the car the other day installing a 4GA power cable for my new amps.
not sure if ur LHD or RHD, but doesnt matter.
basically whichever side its on you need to jack up the car and remove that wheel, once removed take off the small mud guard.
Then you need a skinny screwdriver or something, and you will see circular clips on the plastic under guard, push the center of these in until the pop out the other side, once all are off and all screws you need off, you can either take the whole front guard off by removing the 3 screws in the engine compartment and i believe one behind that side indicator, and you'll be able to move it out enough to get a clear shot at the antennae, dont try to rip the guard off though as the antenna is bolted to both the chassis and the guard, not sure where to go from there, my guess would be once youve got you new one, just remove the old one and connect the new wires to the existing wires or w/e.
im sure someone else can help you with the rest because quite frankly im not sure.

ciao
