my dad has a 2005 elantra and a 2007 Ford f350 turbo diesel
my mom has a 2001 ford touras. my girlfriend has a 89 supercharged MR2

My cars are listed to the left under my avatar. My family all drive American junk that I won't bore you with the names.

You actually made me think I need to corral all my cars together and make a photo of them.

Brother - 06 Taurus, soon to either be a 05 M3, or 08 CTS. He hasn't decided yet.

As a big fan of German cars, I have this to say: sway him to the CTS. That M3 will kill him on maintenance... an oil change will cost nearly $120. The CTS will be a MUCH more reasonable car to own.

As for my other cars, I currently have an 86 Audi 5000 CS Avant. 2.2 Turbo 5-Cyl, 5-Speed manual, quattro AWD. I love this car more than any other vehicle and it will be getting some much needed TLC over the next year or so.

Previously, I had an 01 VW Passat, an 84 VW Rabbit Diesel, a 92 Chevy Beretta, an 99 Chevy Caprice and an 84 Pontiac Parisienne.

My other ride is a 2006 Nissan Titan 4 x 4. Nice rig, but also the reason for the Accent purchase.

The wifey has an '03 Pontiac Vibe (has all the same guts as a Toyota Corolla underneath, even made at the same plant in CA.) That's what I also had before I bought the Accent, our cars even matched, it was so cute... :grin: and that's how we met. :wub: I had to ditch mine though since it wouldn't stay out of the shop, all those parts with Toyota's name stamped on them kept breaking. :P Thankfully my wife doesn't have much go wrong with hers. She likes it, it's paid for, and has low mileage so we're keeping it for a while.

As far as the rest of my family goes, they're predominately GM ranging from an Aveo up to an Impala SS and a bunch of GM trucks. My sister (drives a Mini) and I are the only ones owning them there foreign vehicles (well, unless you're not counting the Korean Aveo! :P)

mom used to have a '94 MX3... was only the 4 cylinder.. quite peppy though, until i drove it a few times.. of should i say, drove the pi$$ out of!!! i hot rodded that thing all over tha place!!! your looks way better MSVG!!!

The 2008 Hyundai Accent belongs to my wife. I just became enthusiastic for the car when Janie let me take Accent on a few day trips, turning in 41.5, 42.,6, & 45.1 MPG.

My own cars are a 2007 Dodge Caliber w/CVT transmission & a 1988 Ford Festiva that averaged 45MPG for years with a 53 MPG highway high.

Wife drives an 07 Dadge Grand Caravan SXT.

We use the Dodge for trips with the boys. We've had it for a little over a year and it only has 9100 miles on it. I traded my 02 PT Cruiser for the Accent. I loved my PT, but the mileage wasn't very good and it started having to many problems.
