 Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump / Fuel Filter Question

I need to replace my fuel filter, however I am having some problems with the pump also.

My question is, if I replaced the pump is the filter inside the actual pump or is it a seperate piece all together?

Fuel filter is inside the pump. I expect that if you replace the pump, it'll have the filter included.
