QUOTE(madderhatter @ Jun 17 2008, 06:58 PM) I know it's a stupid question but I have to ask - you did peel off the top clear plastic layer, right ? TOP CLEAR PLASTIC LAYER.?!?!?!? WTH Robbie, I bought two....you need one, PM me with an address. I'll send it free of charge. I'll bet the early ones were made in Korea...hence the ability to stand up to the elements. Cross ocean shipping and all. :amen: Later ones, like yours were probably made in Alabama. This post has been edited by craigbrooks: Jun 17 2008, 09:07 PM

QUOTE(madderhatter @ Jun 17 2008, 06:58 PM) Where did you put it ? I know it's a stupid question but I have to ask - you did peel off the top clear plastic layer, right ? I put the decal (the larger one) across the top of the rear window, centered in the black strip (about two inches from the top of the glass). And YES, I did remove the clear plastic. I'm not THAT developmentally challenged! I still haven't gotten out there to clean it yet, but I'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you all know how that comes out. If not, I may take Craig up on his offer.

My decal is partialy brown too.... I was adamant not to put it outside my rear window, so I adhered it to a piece of clear tape and I attached it from the inside....
Yesterday I noticed some of the letters, mostly in the middle, are brown and unreadable from afar.
Well, the decal will have to go, I guess. Sun rays must have killed it.
But it's OK, by now this place is popular enough....

QUOTE(craigbrooks @ Jun 27 2008, 09:34 PM) Robbie, Did you put yours on the INSIDE or OUTSIDE? Conspicuously theory here? Hmmm I've read these were made for the weather. Maybe that's the cause. Nope, mine's on the outside. BTW, it cleaned up. I guess it was just some dirt that was stubborn and not coming off with a car wash. Then it rained and Voila! New decal again. Maybe it was ACID RAIN! LOL.
