I have an 08 tiburon that has cold air intake, exhaust, headers. yet i'm told by everyone that i need to rebuild the engine to add on a supercharger and yet im told my tiburon owners that i don't need to rebuild it. except they have the 04 model with the tuscani racing engine in it that puts out 195 hp. unlike my v6 which does 178.
So Should I sell the 08 for an 04 or can i just throw a supercharger in the 08 without having to rebuild the engine??

DOubt that you'd have to rebuild anything as long as you keep boost conservative?

You can run close to 300 whp with a good dyno tune on stock internals . If you plan on going over 300 whp you will need forged lower compression pistons .

you will be fine, just make sure you tune good and dont go crazy on boost, not without breaking it in first
