well , the dealer just called me and said my car is ready--now heres the weird thing--a month ago the dealers collision shop diagnosed my problem as road rash and stone chips and gave an estimate of 800 to sand and repaint problem areas. This estimate was submitted to hyundai and refused by them(stone chips not covered).--now the sales manager tells me that they didnt have to paint because it was not road rash but was road paint spray! (how this paint appeared so gradually is beyond me) -They just had to use some kind of solvent to remove the paint--he says it looks mint and they gave it a full detailing job inside and out---i pick it up in a couple of hours at no charge to me--i will post some pics later

Glad to know you've been well taken care of. Do post pics as I'm sure we'd all want to see the kind of remedial steps the dealer has taken to straighten out that problem.
