Let me preface this by saying I am VERY excited to see/drive the new Genesis. It looks/sounds to be a great vehicle.

With that said, I have a few disappointments, at least in reference to the V6 model.

-No power folding exterior mirrors (Azera has this)
-No power rear sunshade (Azera has this)
-No adjustable pedals (again, the less expensive Azera has this)
-Interior door handles switched from chrome to black and silver plastic (based on the pics at www.hyundaigenesis.com)
-Pricing approx. $3k more than initially expected (understandable given the weak U.S. dollar)

I guess I really shouldn't complain too much. You can't everything in this price range afterall.

Anyone else a tiny bit disappointed or am I just too picky?

I thought they all had the power folding mirrors.
On the driver side door, there are 3 buttons. "set, 1, 2" They are for seat and steering wheel memory. Then on the right side of these 3 buttons, there's a mirror folding button.

And I'm not sure if there a car with organ type pedal that's adjustable.

Interior door handles look chrome to me.

Plus the pictures at www.hyundaigenesis.com are pre-production ones.
It has leather dash with foot parking brake. I don't think they are supposed to go together.

Below is the link regarding standard and optional equipment and "power" options. Rear sun-shade is an option on the 3.8, standard on the V8. Nothing is indicated about folding outside side mirrors on either. Adjustable pedals unavailable.

Regarding the interior door handles and power mirrors, if you go to HyundaiGenesis.com you should notice in the gallery section a pic of the gauges/steering wheel. Click on this pic to select it and then click on it again to enlarge it. It's pretty clear there is no power folding mirror switch near the window adjustment switch. The interior door handles are also different from the chrome handles shown on all the Korean-spec models which the automotive press recently test drove.

Pics from Autoblog (notice the absence of a power-folding mirror button):

What does the button next to the memory seat buttons do? Is this for the pwer rear sunshade?

I was thinking it looked like the control for the power rear sunshade, but why would it be near the memory seat controls?

Alright. It doesn't look like laser cannons. One of my early postulations was that the D-pads on the steering wheel are for aiming laser cannons...

The button you identify here does look more like opening shuttle bay doors.

Come on... anybody? Star Trek fans here? No? .... *shrugs, looks at shoes, turns & walks slowly away*
