car you've ever owned. You know, the one that made you feel good about owning it. Maybe it didn't have a lot of amenities maybe it was ugly or maybe it was a deluxe model with lots of goodies and expensive.
For me it's either a 1977 Toyota Corolla Wagon or a 1994 Mitsubishi Diamante wagon. Both of these cars were extremely reliable. The corolla was a work horse and I got the feeling that it would last forever. The Diamante had the edge in amenities and comfort. It felt solidly built and other than normal ware and tear (occasional brake job) never had a problem through 120k when I got rid of it. It had no squeaks or rattles even at the end. It had, IMO, very sophisticated styling (for a wagon). I think they were trying to compete with the BMW 5 series wagons at the time. This car made bumps in the road seem insignificant. I really miss that car.

Any of my Peugeots. 403, 404,504,604. In case you'll haven't already guessed, I really, really, like French cars. Reliability was never an issue with any of them(except when a rear disc caliper seized up on the 504). We'll be in France later this year and can't wait to rent a 804!! Recently replaced our totaled CRV with a Nissan Rogue. Can't get more Frenchy than the Rogue........Love it. Thanks, Carlos "Goin"........Yes, he spells his name wrong.

QUOTE(campoly @ Jun 15 2008, 09:21 AM) I know it was off topic (Azera) but a little diversion from the norm once in a while can be a good thing for a forum. Which is exactly what the "off-topic" area is for. We try to keep each specific forum focused on the specific vehicle it represents as most people go into an Azera forum for nothing but Azera information. Now if it would have been titled "What's Best, Your Azera or ... ?" then that would have been OK because nobody could have piped up and said "hey, this post has nothing to do with the Azera !" - which happens all the time. I do understand where you're coming from though. Don't get me wrong, I'm not picking on the Azera forum or anything. Most of the stuff in the Off Topic lounge comes from other forums. :57:
