Hope someone can help, I have been looking at these forums for a few weeks or more. There is a short story which will be first, then the long story.

2000 1.5L Accent...this cars idles smooth although it surges. Will rev way up as long as sitting still. Won't get past 2000 rpm when moving though-- also stumbles like it is choked when trying to accelerate, will get up to speed if babied. 68000 mi on car.

Short story:
After it got to running fairly well, explained in long story. It went to sh--. So I went to Autozone and got a P0301 code--misfire #1, replaced plugs and wires. now I get two codes at same time-- Went to two AZ's. In between disconnected battery to reset.
P0562 = Charging system voltage condition--had battery and alternator checked - NO Problems. AND
P0136 = Heated Oxygen sensor Bank 1 sensor 2 -- it says fix other codes first along with O2 sensor defective, fuel system lean (new fuel pump-see long story)

Long story:
I bought it from a nice person who explained that it was sitting because she had paid too much money to the Hyundai dealer and no results.
Includes:
new cat convt., new O2 sensors, numerous visits to dealer. Car would run ok a few days then crappy, same symptoms as above. Died in road one day and she gave up. She had been in a minor accident, hitting someone from behind, had it fixed (She noted that all problems started after that. Any way i got it and found a loose clamp and bolt, tightend them and was running, but not good. Took it on a 10 mile drive and it bucked, engine light flashed and it quit. Looked under hood and cat conv was red hot, melted plastic air dam. Called AAA and towed it to garage.

Garages story: They diagnosed it needed fuel pump, I said OK and they put in new one, then after a few weeks they said they had given up as to why it would not run--not even start. Charged me and I towed it home. Next mechanics found blown ECU fuse and then bad coil packs. Replace them and it starts and runs pretty good. CEL comes on next day with P0301 for me. And that takes us to the short story.
