hi all
recently got an amp n sub for my 1999 Hyundai Excel 3dr hatch and am really wondering how i go about getting my main power cable through the firewall.
im in australia so its Right Hand Drive.
Ive seen a grommet in the passenger footwell but its inaccessible in the engine bay, there is cables running from the passenger footwell through the front left guard panel but again inaccessible sue to the wheel.

would it be viable to run it through a shared grommet above the accelerator and have it running the top of the engine bay to the battery, or will this give to much engine noise?

really need to save the money ive been quoted to have it installed.
The RCA and REM cables were just too easy, its just this dam firewall.

btw its a 4GA red power cable, thats going to power a 600W Orion 3000 with a Alpine Type S 12"

thanks in advance for any input.

nevermind, got it sorted.
ended up usin the grommet on the passenger side just into the guard.
sub works a charm except if i turn the gain up to high it draws to much power from the alternator and battery and cuts out, but even on low is kicks butt.
