Hi there.. Just purchased a 2001 Hyundai XG300L like 3 hours ago..lol..
I have a couple issues I would like to fix:

1st, the Fuel Empty light will not reset.. it just always says "Fuel Empty" and the car has gas in it.

2nd the radio was working wonderful then I engaged the rear defrost and it went to static.

Any troubleshooting ideas?

Thanks for the help in advance

Steph.

The fuel empty light being on sounds like a bad fuel sender sensor/wiring problem somewhere. The fuel sender is a part of your fuel pump, and I'd suggest if it isn't wiring, don't bother replacing it until you need a new pump. The cost isn't worth it.

The radio sounds like bad wiring behind the console, my console has a lot of issues with the buttons not lighting up when pressed + my clock doesn't work.

It sounds like a job for an auto-electrician, or car radio installer to look at.

Hope this was of some help.
