Filled my tank up today and right away noticed that the mpg was way higher then it should have been. Turns out that I set the amount of fuel put into the tank wrong so it was reading wrong in the MPG dept. Reset the thing and now it reads right. I hope! :whistling:

ive done that with mine too.. after each fillup, u need to go to the "fillup" menu and enter fuel cost and amount of fuel, then hit save... the percentage goes up if the cost/gallon goes up, weird.. also when it asks for fuel tank size, set it at 11 gallons instead of 12, that way if you look at the screen that says "___" till empty, you wopnt be underestimating it...

I've had a few tanks that get pretty far out of whack on the SG. Usually they're within a few percent though.

I'm not up for the 13.5 gallon challenge here either. I'm a stop at first click kinda guy. I've heard overfilling can wreck your charcoal canister, fuel tank air filter and who knows what other kinds of emissions-related thingies in there. :whistling: And besides, it will splash out violently if I go too far past the first click. lol!

This is 100% correct. Don't "pack" the tank with fuel. Stop at the first click, perhaps the second, but no more. Overfilling damages the charcoal canister, fuel tank air filter and sometimes even the canister close valve.
